It's MUD Season! Reduced Weight Limits on Town Roads
Town of Warner 6 ton posted limit for spring thaw is in effect until further notice. This will be on most of Town's roads. For a complete listing please contact the Highway garage. Fuel delivery trucks and emergency vehicles are excluded.
Permission to exceed the limit may be granted by contacting Herm Blanchette, Director of Public Works, at 603-456-3366.

SWEET! WARNER MAPLE FESTIVAL Weekend - March 21-22, 2026
Warner’s maple syrup producers join with the town’s organizations and businesses for a town-wide maple celebration. Details of most activities for Maple Weekend are at https://warnerhistorical.org
Both days: Pancake Breakfast 7-11 am, visits to Sap Houses, and a Maple Syrup Tasting and Judging Contest at Town Hall 9 -1.
Sat. only: Story time, Book and bake sale at the library, demonstrations of traditional syrup making at Mt. Kearsarge Indian Museum 10 -3, Spaghetti and meatball dinner fundraiser at Town Hall, 5-7 pm for $15, and a Spring craft sale at Simonds School, 9 am - 2pm to benefit the Food Pantry and the School.
Specials available at local restaurants, and Yankee Farmer's Market Store.

This is a good season to borrow our telescope when the air is relatively dry and clear.
What suggestions do you have for additions to our "Library of Things" collection? Knife sharpener? Metal detector? So far we have Kill-o-Watt energy meters , DVD players, CD and VHS players, a code reader, a Radon monitor and puzzles, sewing machine.

Miss Sue is planning the summer program. "Plant a seed, Read" is the theme. Activities are free, offered Tuesday AM and Wednesday afternoons starting July 7. Look for details and a brochure soon.
Summer program T-shirts are available to purchase. There are many neat colors and designs this year (see image) Sizes are from toddler to adult. Visit the online Store to see styles, sizes and prices and let Miss Sue know what you would like to order!

Warner 4-H Sewing for ages 8-18 will be Mondays 3:30-4:30 pm March 2-April 6 in the library, Contact Sue Jenna or come March 2. Club meeting is 6 pm on Mar. 6 at Church.

Farm + Forest Club is a drop off, once a week, immersive outdoor education program held Thursdays from 10am-4pm.This year Sunset Hill Education Institute in Sutton, NH will host Farm + Forest Club. The Circle of Friends Library book discussion group meets monthly on the 2nd Wednesday. The next meeting will be on April 8, 2026 at 1:30 pm in the library to discuss 'The Berry Pickers' by Amanda Peters. Copies are now available at the library. All are welcome.

Kearsarge Trail Snails Meeting: 2nd Friday of every month @ 6:30pm
Meetings take place at Jason's barn (590 Schoodac Road in Warner).
Warner Fish and Game is currently asking for donations for their raffle for the children's fishing Derby in May. Examples: gift cards, Maple syrup, Gift baskets, New boys and girls toys, screwdriver sets, hammers, wrenches, Cornhole games, puzzles etc. or anything to do with fishing. Next monthly meeting will be March 25 at 7 pm
