WARNER MAPLE FESTIVAL Weekend - March 21-22, 2026
Warner’s maple syrup producers join with the town’s organizations and businesses for a town-wide maple celebration. Details of most activities for Maple Weekend are at https://warnerhistorical.org Statewide information on sap houses: nhmapleproducers.com/
Sat. & Sunday: Pancake Breakfast 7-11 am at United Church of Warner, visits to Sap Houses, and a Maple Syrup Tasting and Judging Contest at Town Hall 9 -1.

Library: Story time 10:30 am, Book and bake sale 10 - 1.
Mt. Kearsarge Indian Museum: demonstrations of traditional syrup making 10 -3, Storytelling at 11 am. Free but registration appreciated. All those who register will be added to a raffle for the chance to win a free gift pass to MKIM. Register here. Town Hall: Spaghetti and meatball dinner fundraiser 5-7 pm for $15.
Spring craft sale at Simonds School, 9 am - 2pm to benefit the Food Pantry and School.

Easter Egg hunts:
Double Clear Farm will be hosting an Egg Hunt for elementary school age children (Simonds and home schoolers) of Warner on Saturday April 4. Registration is at 12:30 pm and Hunt starts at 1 pm. The Warner Highway Garage experienced a fire inside, late on Wednesday evening March 18. The fire reportedly involved one of the vehicles parked inside, but we heard all other vehicles were brought out safely thanks to rapid response.
Sandy Steen Bartholomew is one of the artists in a new exhibit in Contoocook at Two Villages Art Society, "Mixing it up". Opening reception is Sat. March 21, 12 - 2 pm.

New Hampshire Telephone Museum recently collaborated with AT&T and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston on March 11, to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the first telephone call. The event featured hands-on STEM activities and showcased historic telephone artifacts, connecting students with the history and future of communication.

Miss Sue is planning the summer program. "Plant a seed, Read" is the theme. Activities are free, offered Tuesday AM and Wednesday afternoons starting July 7. Look for details and a brochure soon.
Summer program T-shirts are available to purchase. There are many neat colors and designs this year (see image) Sizes are from toddler to adult. Visit the online Store to see styles, sizes and prices and let Miss Sue know what you would like to order!

The Circle of Friends Library book discussion group meets monthly on the 2nd Wednesday. The next meeting will be on April 8, 2026 at 1:30 pm in the library to discuss 'The Berry Pickers' by Amanda Peters. Copies are now available at the library. All are welcome.
