Sat. January 17 Annual Torchlight Dinner by Kearsarge Trail Snails at Warner Town Hall. Social time 5-6ish followed by all you can eat home made Roast Beef & Turkey Dinner with all the fixings, including desert. Giant choose your own prize Raffle to follow. Open to the public, come EARLY to get a good seat. $15 for adults, $12 for kids 6-12, Under 5 free. Charity fundraiser. Bring your own beverage and appetizer. Max.190 tickets.

January 23, 4 pm downstairs at Reed's North, community celebration for Tim Allen, who after 15 years as Warner's Road Agent and 49 years of plowing, retired December 31st! Cash bar and finger food available. (FYI, Paul Raymond is currently the acting Road Agent.)
Thank you to the THREE DPW employees who have been dealing with endless ice, rain and snow!
Also a big shout-out to the Fire Rescue members who have been responding to a huge number of calls, often in the middle of the night, several times some nights.
Thank you to the community groups who participated in the Festival of Trees display, and especially those who helped by setting up and/or packing up the heavy trees. Special thanks to the United Church of Warner members and others, for energetic help boxing up remaining trees, and carrying the trees and decorations up the Town hall stairs to storage!

January is Radon action Month: Do you know if you are at risk?

Newbury Library is hosting a Radon informational session by DHHS Wed. January 17 at 6 pm. Learn about radon in New Hampshire and what you can do to protect yourself and your family. Snow date Feb 4.
See other handy items in our "Library of Things" collection including a code reader for cars, DVD players, CD and VHS players, a selfie stick, a Kill-a-Watt meter, and puzzles! Need a sewing machine? Use ours! You can even book time in the meeting room to use it instead of lugging it home.

Miss Sue is having a Creative Writing and/or Illustrating workshop. It will be on Thursday afternoons, 3:15-4:15 for 4 weeks. Any child who loves to create stories is invited to attend. Each child will be given a handbook to work from. Registration required. This is sponsored by Cosmic Writers.

The new book on the Story Walk is Annie and the Wild Animals by
Jan Brett. Enjoy a winter walk. This book will be on the story walk for the duration of winter. When nicer/warmer weather presents itself then Miss Sue will let you know when changes it again.
