Tax bills were mailed Monday, Nov. 4, 2024. Payments are due by Thursday, December 5, 2024. This second bill of the year is slightly lower. Anyone who has not received their tax bill should contact the Tax Collector who can either email or mail a copy. The tax rate can be found on the Tax Collector page.

Winter Parking Ban: The Town of Warner's Parking Ordinance is in effect and states that no vehicle may be left on any street, road, or highway in the Town of Warner between the hours of 12:00 a.m. midnight and 6:00 a.m., from November 1st until May 1st of each year. Any vehicle found to be in violation of this ban will be towed away at the owner’s expense.

The Town of Warner is seeking a Landuse Secretary, a Police officer, a Transfer Station attendant, and DPW crew member with CDL. warnernh.gov/job-openings/

Window Dressings heat-conserving window inserts: Volunteers are needed to help build the 250 ordered inserts and to bring food, November 14th-21st. The window inserts will be assembled at St. Andrew's Church at 52 Gould Rd., New London. Training provided. Sign up HERE No special building skills are needed. Especially needed: Sunday evening and Tues-Wednesday, and most days to provide food to the team, also 2-4 people and a big vehicle to deliver all gear and unused supplies to Norwich VT Thursday Nov. 21.

November 15 is National Recycling Day! Reduce Warner's taxes by sorting

Metal, Aluminum and corrugated cardboard which earn $$ AND reduce tipping costs.

Warner also recycles plastics #1 and #2 (milk bottles, clear and green bottles)

Transfer Station news:

Please do not put cardboard tubes from paper towels or TP rolls in the paper or cardboard bins - they contain too much glue to recycle and should be put in the compactor, or used to start your stove fire.

Also, unfortunately there is no longer a market for recycling #5 plastic (like those Dunkin' or McDonalds beverage cups), so please use refillable containers if possible.

ON HOLD for now: Please do not drop Stretchy plastics in the TREX box at the Parish House next to the United Church of Warner to recycle for the TREX bench project, for now.
