Sunday September 21: Multiple events in Warner and Concord:
11am-5pm 18th annual Concord Multicultural Festival at Keach Park in Concord! Show support for New Hampshire's immigrant and refugee communities while enjoying delicious food, music, dancing, art, crafts, and entertainment from all around the world. Warner-raised Senie Hunt will be performing music (and later by ticket at the Fells, 5 pm!)
1 PM - 5 PM, the Sun Day Festival will offer information, resources and opportunities to take action for solar/going Green. Art and music for all ages. NH State Capitol, Concord.
2 PM Warner Historical Society Hopes and Impediments: War and Strategies for Belonging. In person and zoom option. Register for Zoom link Panelists are Glenn A. Knoblock, an independent scholar and author; Bob Sheppard, a journalist and the son of a Tuskegee Airman, and Moderator Brick Moltz. The Commissioners of the Water District have scheduled a District Informational Session on September 24, 2025 at 7 PM in the Town Hall to present and take questions regarding the EPA Administrative Order to reduce copper discharge from the waste water treatment plant into the Warner River. The District is in the engineering process to determine the best way to meet the new reduced level copper regulations. The meeting will present the current plan and take questions. Cost of the plan and financing it, are the major issue facing the District. Please plan to attend the meeting.

Enter a float in the Warner Fall Foliage Festival parade! The theme this year is "Mythical Creatures Throughout History". All kinds of entries are welcome - truck floats, walking floats, entries w/animals, etc. - all put together by organizations/clubs, businesses/non-profits, families/friends. The kids' parade is on Saturday, Oct. 11 at 1:00 pm! No registration necessary, just line up at the space between the TDS building and the post office at 12:45pm.

Volunteer Opportunity for Parks and Rec. in Warner.
We are hosting our Fall Adopt-A-Highway trash pickup on Monday, September 29 starting at 10am from Bagley Park (223 Route 103 East). The section we maintain is from Bagley Park to the interstate 89 overpass. Many hands make quick work. If you can spare an hour please come and help out. We will have vests, disposable gloves, but you are free to bring your own and "grabbers" if you have them. It usually takes no more than 2 hours. Please, spread the word. Thank you.
The School Board seeks a Citizen Representative from each town to attend all facilities meetings and participate in the process. If you are interested, please contact your School Board Representative. For contact information, visit our website www.kearsarge.org. Look for the "School Board" section.

Warner Ukulele Festival. Saturday, Oct. 4, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the MainStreet Warner Stage & Amphitheater. Family friendly event. Performances by ukulele groups from around the region from noon to 4 p.m. All-day ukulele “petting zoo.” Beginner workshop (ukuleles provided) at 11 a.m. Advanced strumming workshop at 4:30 p.m. (No registration required for workshops). Raffle prizes include four chances to win a ukulele and a series of beginner lessons in Warner. Free event, but donations welcome. All proceeds benefit MainStreet Warner, Inc.
Warner's Writer's Group First Tuesday of every month 6:30-7:45 PM (Oct 7!) at Pillsbury Free Library (Frank Maria Meeting Room), 18 E Main St. Warner. Bring your laptop or notebook, settle in, and enjoy an hour+ of dedicated writing time with others who get it. Snacks are allowed, and there is a sink, a microwave, mugs, Keurig, and tea kettle.
Currier Museum of Art: Paintings from Tomie dePaola’s Front Porch Tales and North Country Whoppers are now on view in the Discovery Gallery through October 19.
