The Economic Development Advisory Committee: A “Listening Session” will be
held at Town Hall on Thurs. Sept. 26 at 7:00 to discuss the future of the Community Center. Results of the 2024 Warner Community Center Survey can be found here.
The public is invited to join the Warner Conservation Commission to hike the proposed mountain bike trail that has been flagged in Rollins State Park on Mount Kearsarge. Meet on Friday, Sept. 27 at 1:00 pm at Town Hall and carpool to the proposed trail head. Please wear proper hiking shoes and long pants since the trail may not be well cleared. We expect the hike will take 2 hours.

MainStreet Warner Music Schedule for the 2024 Warner Fall Foliage Festival!
Friday –6-9pm, Saturday: 10AM- 5:30 PM, Sunday 9:30AM-5:30PM https://wfff.org/
WFFF 5K run/walk October 12 at 9:30 a.m. registration ($30) 9/1/24 thru 10/10/24. Race day registration will be $35. Free shirts to the first 100 registrants. Register.
Warner Fall Foliage Festival Kids 1 mile Fun Run! Sunday at 9 am. This is a fun free event. The Warner Democrats will be hosting a "Soup, Signs and Swag" event on Sat. Sept. 28 from 12:30-2:00 PM at Silver Lake, (29 Bean Road) in Warner.
Signs promoting the Democratic candidates for the November election will be available. Stop by for a delicious cup of soup, meet fellow Warner residents, possibly some of the candidates (with swag!), and leave with signs to show your support.
Warner Historical Society Annual Meeting and Book Release Party new date:
October 3, 7pm at Warner Town Hall. A short Annual Meeting followed by a party to celebrate the re-release of Carl Malmberg's 1974 history of the town, "Warner, New Hampshire 1880-1974". A dedicated committee diligently re-typed the text, updated the index and added new photos. Malmberg's history has been out of print for years.
Black History Bus Tour: A Small N.H. Town Remembers Its Black History. The tour will begin at the Warner Town Hall on October 6 from 1 - 3 pm and will concentrate on Davisville. Rebecca Courser and Lynn Clark will be conducting the tour. Wear sturdy shoes, bring water. This is a fundraiser for Black Heritage Trail of New Hampshire. Window Dressers "Warm Windows" Community Build needs volunteers:
REGISTRATION IS OPEN here for YOU to sign up for a 4-hour shift helping to create insulated custom storm window inserts during the Window Dressers Community Build Nov. 14-20 at St. Andrews Church in New London. KNP will partner with Kearsarge Climate Action to provide 250 low-cost window inserts, Volunteer as a shift supervisor, window builder, greeter, food provider, or to supply transportation. All training is provided.

Library Trustee meetings include the Monthly Board Meeting on the third Tuesday of each month (at 6:30 pm, in person). Various Committee meetings, some that meet monthly, vary in meeting schedules. OCTOBER meeting is moved to 10/22

Preschooler Story times with Miss Sue are held every Thursday at 10:30 am - stories, songs, finger-plays, and a craft. This program is held in the Children's Room.

Squam Lakes Natural Science Center will be presenting Creatures of the Night, a live animal program, at October’s Super Stellar Friday, presented by McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center. Purchasing tickets ahead is suggested.

If you are a Thursday afternoon/ Saturday visitor or are planning to come to the library this September 26/September 28th, please be patient with us. We will be emptying our rooms on Thursday and putting them back together on Saturday. Our carpets are getting cleaned so we will be moving as much as possible. Items will still be accessible to you for borrowing but the spaces on carpets will be cleared. We apologize for the inconvenience but we can't wait to have our carpets looking clean again. Thank you!

Warner 4-H Club has changed the dates of Oct. & Nov. meetings to October 7 and November 4 to avoid meeting on the holidays. Same time and place: 6:30 - 7:30 PM at the United Church of Warner. Ages 8-18 welcome.
The Oct 7 meeting will allow us to work on items needed for the Fall Festival Parade float, and Nov. 4 will be Achievement Night.
Kearsarge Youth Hockey players must be registered by Friday September 27.
Equipment Swap will be on Sunday September 29 @ 9:00 at the Proctor rink.
