The Selectboard meeting for Tues. Sept 2 is rescheduled to Thurs. Sept 5 at 2:30 pm
starting with an Avitar appointment for a Software Presentation of Building Permitting.
Revaluation Property Visits: Avitar started visiting properties last week and will be around for the next couple of weeks. They are in a white Honda CR-V car with 'Avitar Associates' on both sides, they will also have a badge. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Elizabeth Labbe at Town Hall at 603-456-2298 Ext 3. If you are unsure about the visitors, you can contact the Warner Police Department at 693-456-3433 - they have the license plate numbers and names.
Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event Saturday, September 7, 2024, 9:00 am - Noon, Warner Highway Garage, (Next to the Transfer station)
What to Bring: Household cleaners, solvents, polish, pesticides, herbicides, pool chemicals, oil based paints, stains, varnishes, adhesives, paint remover, oil based driveway sealer, photo and hobby chemicals, mercury containing devices, old fuel and fuel additives.
What NOT to bring: Ammunition, explosives, radioactive materials, medical wastes, fire extinguishers, smoke and CO detectors, propane tanks, batteries, latex paint.

The Supervisors of the Checklist will meet in the Town Hall on Friday, August 30 at 10:00am. New registrations and changes to the Voter Checklist will be done at this time. NO Party Changes can be made. If you are unable to climb the stairs to our office, we will be glad to meet with you downstairs.
The State Primary Election Day is Tuesday, September 10, 2024. Town Hall will be open for voting from 7 AM until 7 PM. If you are unable to be present, you may submit an Absentee Ballot Request Form which should be delivered to the Town Clerk's office either in person, by fax to 603-456-2297, or by mail to Town Clerk, Town of Warner, PO Box 265, Warner, NH 03278. Sept. 15, 7pm Book Release: Warner, New Hampshire 1880-1974
We're hoping to have our brand new version of the town's 1974 history edited by Carl Malmberg back from the printer and ready to sell. A dedicated committee diligently re-typed the text, updated the index and added new photos. Malmberg's history has been out of print for years. Join us at Town Hall to celebrate the re-issue!

Warner’s 250th committee update: Incorporation Day Community Picnic at Riverside Park on September 14, 2024 from 4 to 6:00 pm. We will provide hamburgers, hot dogs, and vegetarian alternatives, chips and water. Last names A-M, please bring a side dish to share, N-Z a dessert. Please nothing with peanuts! The Hopkinton Town Band will begin playing at 4:30 pm. Bring a lawn chair or picnic blanket. Limited onsite parking. Park at Mentis Sciences, Inc. or the lot by Pine Grove Cemetery. This event is free and sponsored by the 250th committee, Greenleaf Irrigation and GRVL Cycling.

Library Trustee meetings include the Monthly Board Meeting on the third Tuesday of each month (at 6:30 pm, in person). Various Committee meetings, some that meet monthly, vary in meeting schedules.

Gear Up Homeschoolers will be starting up Friday meetings for the school year on Sept 6 at 1 pm. All ages of students, from 5 up to 18, attend. We meet on the top floor of the Warner Community Center (aka CAP building and Old Graded School building).
WYSA will again partner with CandleTree Soy Candles to offer 15 different scents just in time for autumn parties and holiday get-togethers. Help WYSA continue providing year-round sports programs for area youth, including spring softball/football, spring & fall soccer, and a ski/snowboard program. Link coming to https://warnersports.org/
Warner 4-H Club will hold its first meeting of the new year Monday September 9 at the United Church of Warner, 6:30-7:30 PM. New members are welcome: children ages 5 to 18.
