Warner Food Pantry: A growing community need:
Since the beginning of the year, we have seen a steady increase of households. We are averaging 7 new households a month versus our previous 4. In July we assisted 219 households (households can come in once a week), this equates to 419 individuals (170 elderly, 169 adults, and 80 children). With the food provided, 2933 meals were able to be created. The need is constantly increasing, and your support is needed now more than ever. (see September wishlist later in this newsletter but anything helps.)
Consider donating the extra vegetables from your gardens - call first to be sure.
Donate or purchase clothing at the Family Closet thrift boutique to help the Food Pantry.
Sadly, Warner Public Market has closed its doors as of this week.
