Pancake Breakfast: March 15 and 16 at United Church of Warner, to benefit the Warner Historical Society and the Church. 7:30-11:00 am. $15, age 7-12 $7. Warner maple syrup.

Six sap houses will be demonstrating how they turn sap into maple syrup and other maple treats: Baker’s Syrup, Courser Farm, Rogers Maple Syrup and Turyn’s Tap’n & Sap’n and What’s Sappenin.

Warner Town Hall: Maple tasting - taste and vote! 9 am - 1 pm both Sat. and Sun.

Maple Weekend T-shirts featuring a historical painting of Flanders' Sugar House, by Charlie Brown and will be available at the Town Hall.

Mt. Kearsarge Indian Museum: Explore how Native Americans first made maple syrup! Snowshoe hike, scavenger hunt, historical displays, and tasty treats like acorn flour pancakes with local maple syrup. The outdoor events are free but regular admission applies to tour the museum. 10 am - 4 pm Saturday.

Pillsbury Free Library: Saturday Story time at 10 am with a craft, and a Library Open House/Social Sat. 10:30—12:30 pm: meet the library Friends, Trustees and Staff and enjoy Maple snacks, and hot beverages. See our new tables and chairs!

Warner's Jim McLaughlin will be appearing on NH Chronicles- WMUR at 7PM on Monday, March 17, St. Patrick’s Day. Jim's Celtic wood carvings will be featured.
The Warner Beautification Group invites all to help with planting and maintaining flowers in public spots around Warner. Email kathy.carson50@gmail.com to join the fun. There will be a group meeting later in March.

We were thrilled to have a visit from two great-great-great grandchildren of Pillsbury Free Library's founders George and Margaret Pillsbury, the morning of Thursday March 13.
Siblings George Pillsbury (of Cambridge MA) and Sarah Pillsbury (of Venice, CA) spent time admiring the building and chatting about the inspiration they continue to feel from their civic-minded ancestors.
George, who remarked on the "family resemblance" of the portrait in the library, provides information about prominent Pillsbury family members on his website, https://gpillsbury.com/ancestors-family/

On display at the library until March 26: Greek heritage items from the collections of Anastasia Glavas, in celebration of Greek Independence Day, which is celebrated on March 25 each year, marking the start of the Greek War of Independence in 1821 against Ottoman rule. The day is a national holiday in Greece, featuring parades and festivities to honor the struggle for freedom and the establishment of an independent Greek state. Have a collection to share? Book Discussion Groups
The Library book discussion group meets the 2nd Wed. each month at 1:30 pm in the library. All are welcome! The library has copies to borrow up to 4 weeks before the meetings.

BookEnds BookGroup meets at 4pm on the first Friday every other month. The next meeting will be on April 4: Still Life by Louise Penny.
You can also request copies for any book group via the library through inter-library loan.

Library Trustee meetings include the Monthly Board Meeting on the third Tuesday of each month (at 6:30 pm, in person). Various Committee meetings, some that meet monthly, vary in schedules.

Warner Fall Foliage Festival: board meeting 6:00 p.m. Sugar River Bank, Wed. April 2.

Vendor Applications for 2025 will open in April. Food truck applications are open.
The United Church of Warner is seeking part-time assistance with technology needs. This is a paid position. Responsibilities include collaborating with the Pastor to create and present audiovisual materials for Sunday worship and managing the YouTube Livestream. Mt. Kearsarge Indian Museum in March and April, the museum is open Fridays only, 10-4, with tours at 10:30am and 1:30pm. Check the new website design!

Mt. Kearsarge Indian Museum: Spring Social on Saturday, March 22, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM: Potluck meal - bring a favorite dish to share. Social dancing with two drums, featuring the Walking Bear Singers and Black Thunder Singers. Bring your craft projects and get creative together. Admission is free, but a donation of a non-perishable food item for the Warner Food Pantry appreciated.
Warner Fish and Game club: Next monthly meeting will be March 26 at 7 pm.
Kid's Fishing Derby will be Sat. May 10, Registration at 7 Bartlett Loop, Warner starting at 6:30 am, fishing 8 am - 2 pm for kids 15 and under. Prizes and Games. Donations cool!

Preschooler Story times with Miss Sue are held every Thursday at 10:30 am - stories, songs, finger-plays, and a craft. This program is held in the Children's Room. Call first if bad weather!
