At a school-focused community meeting on July 30th, three key topics were addressed:
1. Facility Needs - maintain our quality of education while managing costs responsibly.
2. Articles of Agreement - Articles of Agreement allow only the town whose school would be closed to vote on a consolidation proposal.
3. Operating Budget - to address the 2026 budget in a way that preserves educational quality while responding to community concerns about cost and to begin analyzing the 2027 budget outlook, especially in relation to facility options, so that financial projections can help guide our decisions.
