Warner Fall Foliage Festival October 10-12, 2025

All kinds of entries are welcome - truck floats, walking floats, entries w/animals, etc. - all put together by organizations/clubs, businesses/non-profits, families/friends. During the Warner Fall Festival, Sat., October 11 and Sun., October 12, The Barn and the Pratt Exhibit at Upton House will be open from 9 am to 3 pm.

Hay Day Fall Festival Sunday, October 12, 2025 11 AM- 2 PM at the John Hay Estate at The Fells: live music, local vendors, old-fashioned games, wagon rides, crafter demonstrations, food, children’s art projects, and more! Explore nature trails, create a fairy house in the Fairy Village, exhibits and art installations. Tours of the Main House and gardens, Food available for purchase on site. Members free, Non-members: included with regular admission fee. (Library pass available).


Monday Oct. 13 Indigenous Peoples' Day a day to honor America’s first inhabitants and the tribal nations that continue to thrive today, will be celebrated at MKIM with free admission and a special program welcoming Native artists as they discuss their unique styles and creative processes. Admission includes access to the museum, Medicine Woods, and Arboretum throughout the day during the museum hours of 10 am - 4 pm!

Miss Sue's Library News (for Kids)

Preschooler Story times Every Thurs. at 10:30am with Miss Sue: stories, songs, finger-plays, and a craft - in the Children's Room.


Halloween books are out. Great stories but also ideas and how to books for costumes, food, crafts, and DVD's.


POKEMON Club- First day is Tuesday, October 14th, 3-5:00 in Miss Sue's room. Sign up required each month. Simonds kids are walked down. A snack is provided.


The next story on the Story Walk is In the Woods: Who's Been Here? by Lindsay Barrett George. Enjoy an autumn story on a gorgeous fall day along the river!


After School Crafts will restart in October. Specific dates will be sent out in the next newsletter and to Simonds. Sign ups required each month.

The Library Trustees will be holding a Public Hearing in compliance with RSA 202-A:4-c for the purpose of accepting and expending gifts, at their regular monthly meeting Tuesday, October 21 at 6:30 PM at the Pillsbury Free Library, 18 E. Main St., Warner.



Library Trustee meetings include the Monthly Board Meeting on the third Tuesday of each month (at 6:30 pm, in person). Trustee meetings are posted 24-48 hours in advance online and at the USPO and Library, and on the Warner Events Calendar. Approved minutes are published on the Trustee Minutes page.

Contributions to the library may be donated online, mailed to P. O. Box 299, Warner NH 03278 or put in the book drop!
