NEW this year, NO CARS on the "dingle" which Includes Roslyn Ave., Geneva Street and Kirkland Avenue on Halloween Friday, October 31 from 4:30 PM until 8:30 PM, approved by the Warner PD. Residents of the neighborhood will be able to come and go but it will be closed to all other traffic. You can park at the Old Graded School Parking lot to allow your trick-or-treaters to roam the neighborhood.
Ross Mingarelli's animatronics Halloween display will be at Sugar River Bank in Warner for the Bank's Trunk or Treat event on Halloween night.
The United Church of Warner will be open during Trick-or-Treating hours: Parking and restrooms, hot cider and donuts!

Why Are Our Property Taxes So High? A Town Hall Meeting with Executive Councilor Karen Liot Hill. Councilor Liot Hill represents 81 cities and towns on New Hampshire’s Executive Council, including Warner and surrounding communities. She'll talk about the role of the Executive Council in exercising oversight of state government, including voting on state spending, approving judicial appointments, and managing our state infrastructure. Drawing from her 20 years as a former City Councilor, she'll also discuss the burden of local property taxes and how decisions in Concord affect us at the local level.

Warner's Writer's Group First Tuesday of every month 6:30-7:45 PM (Nov. 4) at Pillsbury Free Library (Frank Maria Meeting Room), 18 E Main St. Warner. Bring your laptop or notebook, settle in, and enjoy an hour+ of dedicated writing time with others who get it. Snacks are allowed, and there is a sink, a microwave, mugs, Keurig, and tea kettle.

Preschooler Story times Every Thurs. at 10:30am with Miss Sue: stories, songs, finger-plays, and a craft - in the Children's Room.
Halloween books are out. Great stories but also ideas and how to books for costumes, food, crafts, and DVD's.
After School Craft for K-5th graders is October 21, 3 - 4:15. Sign ups required to Miss Sue and Mrs. Grimes if a Simonds student. The kids are walked down with Miss Sue. The featured book is Grumpy Monkey Don't Be Scared for our Halloween craft and snack to bring home.
October 24, 5:30-8PM, Halloween party, 4th grade and up. Costumes required, pot luck meal, games, and announcement of the next play!

The Library Trustees will be holding a Public Hearing in compliance with RSA 202-A:4-c for the purpose of accepting and expending gifts, at their regular monthly meeting Tuesday, October 21 at 6:30 PM at the Pillsbury Free Library, 18 E. Main St., Warner.
Library Trustee meetings include the Monthly Board Meeting on the third Tuesday of each month (at 6:30 pm, in person). Trustee meetings are posted 24-48 hours in advance online and at the USPO and Library, and on the Warner Events Calendar. Approved minutes are published on the Trustee Minutes page.
