Workforce housing application at Exit 9: The Zoning board is conferring with legal representation and reconvening next Tuesday August 16, to get clarification on whether the building has to be 100% workforce housing or whether having a handful of market rate apartments in there as well also qualifies. If not it would require a variance rather than an exception.

Changes in KRSD Bus Routes for the 2022-2023 School Year
Some routes have been removed and others have been changed.
Buses that typically transport 25-35 students may see an increase in student riders. Students may be riding 2 to 3 per seat which will not allow for social distancing.
We encourage you to periodically review the routes for necessary changes.
Bus Passes (requesting to travel on a different bus than school to home): We will need to temporarily suspend bus pass requests, until we determine demand for each route. This does not impact students taking different buses for before or after school care. Students should plan to be at the bus stop 5-10 minutes before scheduled pick up time.
Questions? Stacy Fogwill, Transportation Director, sfogwill@ridesta.com will respond via email within two work days
If you have not yet signed up your children for fall soccer, please do it now:

Honoring David McCullough
by Roger Robbins
David McCullough, who passed away on August 7, was an accomplished and much beloved historian. His style was not the dryasdust, turgid prose that many readers fear in a history book. He put flesh and bones on his subjects, creating driving narratives that read like a good novel.
