Attention Team:
League Operators, along with the APA Handicap Review Committee in St. Louis, monitor all qualified teams closely to watch for rule infractions that could cost them eligibility. In the interest of preserving your eligibility for both the World Qualifier and possibly the APA World Pool Championships, we feel we should advise you of a problem that your team is currently experiencing.

As of the date of this letter, the team named above is currently in violation of the 50% Rule for Qualified Teams.
The 50% Rule states that “teams that do not finish in the top half of their division in the session(s) after they qualify are subject to heavy scrutiny of their handicaps and/or potential loss of qualification” (Page 77 in your Official Team Manual). This was part of the information we reviewed with your team after Tri-Annual. If you need another copy of that document you can download it from our website.
We must enforce this rule to protect all our teams and members. Statistics show, in review of over 40,000 teams nationwide, that it is extremely uncommon for teams to perform so poorly following such a strong performance in previous sessions.
Please be aware that your team is dangerously close to losing its eligibility per this rule. Should your team not show drastic improvement immediately to comply with the rule, you may face loss of eligibility. If you feel your team has experienced extenuating circumstances contributing to your current standings, please contact the League Office immediately at (904)585-8180 to discuss the situation.
