Do you want to attend Summer Camp at Warren Willis?
Warren Willis Summer Camp runs for one week, from Monday - Saturday. This is an overnight camp that your kids will come back from charged by the Holy Spirit having made new friends, worshiped and learned how to grow their faith.
At least 14 First United Methodist Church children and youth, ages 4th grade rising to 12th grade, are planning to attend this awesome camp. They will have fun activities (swimming, hiking, cooking, fishing, canoeing, games and more) while meeting other kids from all around Florida. The evening praise services are rated #1 in fun by those who attend! The United Methodist Camp near Leesburg Florida, provides a wonderful week that your kids won't want to miss.
One of our parents, Karen Parry, will be joining the many counselors from the camp itself (we'll be looking for more parents to join her as volunteer chaperone counselors, as well as drivers from Naples to the camp.)
We know this is short notice, but
if you are thinking your child might like to go, and think you will need some help financially, this is your chance to apply for a scholarship!
The application MUST be postmarked by APRIL 1ST and needs a signature from the church (located on the backside).
There is also a short 3 sentence explanation on why your child would like to attend that is required. Please have them fill that in.
Please have your forms back to FUMC front office by noon on Friday March 31st or arrange to meet Karen Parry, who will sign these on behalf of the church and mail them on Saturday April 1st.
