You can support Pennies for Patients, a fundraiser for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society by sending change to school with your child. Each classroom will have a box to collect change from now through Friday, January 18th.

Since 1993, students and educators throughout the United States and Canada have raised over $370 Million in support of the mission to cure blood cancers and improve the lives of patients and families.
The annual Elementary Show Choir Clinic  is scheduled for Friday, January 18th during h alftime of the Girls Varsity Basketball game. Information, including the registration form is linked here. A paper copy will also be sent home with students today. The registration form and fee can be turned into the office and is due no later than this Friday, January 11th. We can wait to see these future Royalty and Legacy members performing on January 18th." 
Snow & Recess
Students are not allowed to play in snowy areas during lunch recess, but your child's teacher may allow students the opportunity to play in snow during morning or afternoon recesses. Watch for communication from him/her regarding snow gear and boots.

Report Cards
Your child's second quarter report card will be mailed home during the second week of January. Reports about student proficiency on last year's state assessments will accompany report cards of 4th and 5th graders. Please contact Dr. Snyder or Mr. Kreifels if you have questions!

Treats & Snacks
Homemade treats are not allowed to be shared with classes in our school. If you send snacks or treats for the class, please make sure this is arranged with the teacher first. It is required that the items be purchased and in the original container with an ingredients list. Healthy snacks are preferred.

Testing for Reading Fluency (called Fastbridge) will take place throughout this month. Please do all you can to avoid absences. Your child's teacher will communicate specific dates for his/her class.
Attendance at School Events
Elementary students are encouraged to show school pride by attending Middle School and High School activities. Children under 11 must be accompanied by an adult. Students are expected to be seated and watching throughout the game/performance. Thank you for your cooperation and for supporting Warrior Pride!
