Sheltered Reality School Assembly

Wahoo Elementary students were treated to an assembly February 9. The performers, called Sheltered Reality, provided a message about going "ABOVE and BEYOND" and showing kindness.

The message focused on the following key points:

1) Take a CHANCE

2) Never give UP

3) Believe in YOURSELF

4) Push back the NEGATIVE

Valentine's Day Teammates Fundraiser

As part of Wahoo Teammates Fundraiser, over 650 donuts were purchased for students at Wahoo Elementary School. Due to the generosity of our community, every student in the building was able to have a donut. Thank you for helping support Teammates Program and making the day memorable for students.

Parental Involvement Opportunties

Personal Devices at School

Many families send their child to school with a personal device of some kind (cell phone, iPod, high-tech watch). Often, parents do this as a safety measure so students can call/text as they travel between school and home. However, the growing number and types of these devices pose a significant distraction during school hours. Moving forward, all devices (including watches) that have the ability to text/call will be kept in backpacks from 7:45 to 3:15. Students are not to use these devices until they leave the elementary building.
