As part of our Warriors BEyond Intersession at Mariemont High School, we are seeking community members and professionals to serve as mentors for a two-day student shadow experience.
During Intersession (May 20–21, 2025), students step outside the classroom to explore real-world careers. One option is the Experienceship, where students shadow professionals in a career field they are passionate about pursuing after high school.
We are currently looking for mentors in a variety of industries—healthcare, finance, education, engineering, media, research, law, architecture, trades, business, and more!
Mentor Expectations:
- Host a student on May 20 & 21 for 4–8 hours per day (flexible)
- Allow students to observe your daily work, attend meetings, and learn from you and/or your team
- Provide a welcoming, engaging experience for a high school junior
- Optional: Attend a brief student showcase on May 22, where students present about their shadowing experience
- We’ll handle transportation and parent permissions—you just share your world!
