Mariemont Junior High School is thrilled to present Something Rotten, Jr., a hilarious and high-energy musical comedy that transports audiences back to the Renaissance—with a twist! Follow the story of Nick and Nigel Bottom as they strive to outshine the famous William Shakespeare in a world where musicals have yet to be invented. In 2015, the district unveiled the Marie Huenefeld Friend of the School Award to recognize individuals in our community who make significant contributions to our school district with their time, service and/or expertise to create a better experience for our students and make us an even better school district.

As the namesake, Marie Huenefeld was the 2015 recipient, followed by Rusty Wilson in 2016, Don Gurney in 2017, Chandra Buswell in 2018, Jack Smith in 2019, Nancy Eigel-Miller in 2021, Bill Flynn in 2022, Steve Spooner in 2023 and Chief Richard Hines in 2024

Support the Arts at Mariemont!

Do you love the arts or have a student involved in band, choir, orchestra, theater, or art classes? Come join the Mariemont Arts Association for our last formal meeting of the year on Tuesday, April 8 at 7:00pm at Mariemont High School (Room 128: through the front door and to the left)!

We’re looking for new volunteers for the 2025-26 school year and would love to have you get involved—whether it’s helping with social media or marketing, supporting music teachers, assisting with events, or just sharing your ideas! It’s a great way to meet other arts-loving parents and make an impact. Stop by and see what we’re all about!

The Mariemont Maker's Market craft and art fair is quickly approaching. Please plan to stop by the high school on Sunday, April 27th from 12-4pm to check out the beautiful and creative items from our vendors. We will have local artists as well as students set up to share their creations. If you know of someone who might be interested in participating, click here. or email MariemontArtsPresident@gmail.com.
