šŸŽƒ Halloween Week: Enjoy the Treats—Without the Tricks! šŸ¬

Halloween is all about fun, friends, and of course… candy! But parents know that too much sugar can lead to tired bodies and tricky moods. Here are a few simple ways to keep things balanced while still letting your kids enjoy the magic of the holiday:

  • šŸ‘» Eat dinner first. A full belly makes it easier to enjoy a few treats without overdoing it.
  • šŸ« Sort and savor. Let kids pick their favorites and save the rest for later—spreading the fun (and the sugar) over time.
  • šŸ§™ā€ā™€ļø Get moving! Trick-or-treating, dancing to spooky tunes, or playing/walking/running outside helps burn off energy and keep spirits high.
  • šŸ’¤ Don’t skip sleep. After the excitement, help kids wind down with quiet time and plenty of rest.

Halloween is about joy and connection—so go ahead and enjoy those sweet moments (and maybe a mini candy bar, too)! šŸŽƒ

MHS Fall Play

MARIEMONT HIGH SCHOOL THEATER PROUDLY PRESENTS: The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon

Two narrators attempt to recreate all 209 of the fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm in a wild, fast-paced extravaganza. To make it more difficult, they attempt to combine them into one gigantic fable using Rapunzel, Rumpelstiltskin, Hansel and Gretel, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, and other more obscure stories like Lean Lisa. Please note that this play contains dark humor and the violent endings of the original fairy tales from the Brothers Grimm.

If you are a Mariemont Arts Association Member, make sure your membership is current so you are listed among our patrons in the program!

SHOWDATES:

  • Friday, November 14- 7:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, November 15 - 7:00 p.m.
  • Sunday, November 16- 1:00 p.m.

Tickets are on sale 11/3 @ http://mariemonths.seatyourself.biz
