Warriors BEwell

World Mental Health Day is Oct. 10

Mental Health is a Universal Human Right

World Mental Health Day is a global observance dedicated to raising awareness and mobilizing efforts in support of mental health. At MCSD, we believe that taking care of our minds is just as important as taking care of our bodies.

A few things to try at home:

The Power of Talk - Ask open-ended questions to encourage conversation beyond "How was school?" Try: "What was the best thing someone said to you today?" or "What was the most challenging part of your day?"
Model Self-CareLet your children see you prioritizing your own mental health. Talk about your coping skills: "I'm going to take a 10-minute walk because I feel stressed," or "I'm reading a book to help my brain relax."

Parent & Caregiver Survey

As we begin the work of Destination NEXT, we want to hear from our families. We are asking parents and caregivers to take a few minutes to complete a brief survey about your experience with Mariemont City Schools. Your feedback will help us better understand the impact of our work as we move Destination NEXT forward.

Please take a few minutes to complete the survey.

Thank you for sharing your perspective and helping us shape the work ahead.
