Maintaining Perspective in Troubling Times
Picture by Elena Bailey, 6th Grade
In Philippians 4:4, Paul writes, “Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice!” In my Bible, I circled the word “again” and wrote in the margin “because I need to hear it.”

Arrival and Dismissal Update
We will no longer have staggered arrival and dismissal times.
Please continue to use the carpool line instead of parking your vehicle and walking to the building whenever possible. This helps us maintain physical distancing, as students use the entire area around the elementary entrance door while waiting to be picked up. The side parking lot next to the elementary building is reserved as a play area and for Pre-K drop-off and dismissal.
ES/MS pictures are tomorrow!
Parent/Teacher Conferences
Parent/Teacher Conferences will be on Friday, November 6, in the afternoon. A SignUpGenius invitation will be coming soon.
4th-6th Grandparents' Day
Our Grandparents' Day celebration will look a little different, but we want to celebrate and thank our grandparents nonetheless for the blessing they are to us. Please fill out the Google Form linked below to let us know who to include in our virtual celebration this year.

Creative Learning Experience
Here are some photos of another "outside the box" and "outside the building" lesson from another one of our creative teachers.

Mrs. Rockafellow explains that her 10th grade students have been studying classical literature and Greek mythology, so she organized an Olympic games-themed review for their test. Each station had an "Olympic event" and flash card questions. Events included were: straw javelin, paper plate discus, sock ball shot put, paper bag hammer toss, balloon/fly swatter tennis (upper right), and Q-tip/rubber band archery (bottom right).
I apologize for not being able to end PSAT testing in time yesterday and hope that this did not disrupt plans too much.

We are expecting a return of the scores from the College Board in early December. Once these arrive, we will distribute to each student who took the test their scoring report and test book.

If you have any questions, please contact Mr. George McNair (email).
