"Catholic Schools: Learn. Serve. Lead. Succeed."
|

This afternoon, a delegation of students and faculty from Coyle and Cassidy will join with hundreds of thousands of youth from across the nation in support of life at the annual March for Life in Washington, D.C. I am so proud of these students and their chaperones, Miss Linehan and Mrs. Gilmore. Please keep them in your prayers for safe travels.
Next week we will join with Catholic Schools across the nation in celebration of National Catholic Schools Week. We have a variety of events planned to celebrate each aspect of the week: community, students, the nation, vocations and faculty/staff. Please know how grateful we are to all of our parents, relatives and friends of CC. Your support is truly appreciated!
Congratulations to our Robotics team under the direction of Mrs. Russell and Mrs. Gilmore for all of their hard work and efforts in preparation for the FIRSTS robotics competition in Norwood. Best of luck to our Middle School mathletes under the direction of Mrs. Medeiros and Ms. Rogier as they compete in the Massasoit League math meet today.
May God bless each of you as we celebrate Coyle and Cassidy in the upcoming week!

Five members of our robotics team competed in a qualifying event at Needham High School. The team did very well, especially since it was our first competition. By competing and observing, we picked up a number of ideas, and are currently tweaking our design in preparation for our next qualifying event on February 8, 2020.

Grade Dance
|
The 7
th
and 8
th
Grade Winter Dance is scheduled for Friday, February 7
th
from 7:00 to 9:00 PM and will be held in the school cafeteria. The students decided on a winter theme for the dance. After much discussion about the attire, students voted to make it a “dress-up” event. Many girls have already chosen their outfits, and so far they have all selected “special occasion” type dresses. The boys are not required to wear a tie, but they are expected to wear a collared shirt and they should refrain from wearing t-shirts and jeans. Everyone seems excited to attend, and we are all looking forward to a fun night! Student must pre-register for this event. Look for the form in this week’s Friday Folder. The form is due Friday, January 24
th
. If your son or daughter would like to bring a 7
th
or 8
th
grader from another school, have them see Mrs. Williams for the appropriate form. If you have any questions, contact Mrs. Williams. (
