Greetings!

Coordinated quarterly by the Library, the Village of Warwick and Ye Olde Warwick Book Shoppe, the Warwick Cafe Reading Project puts multiple free copies of the same book in cafes around Warwick.  The book is chosen by popular vote on the Library's website and is intended to stimulate conversation and a shared reading experience.  The project is entirely underwritten by the Albert Wisner Public Library Foundation.

The next title for the Warwick Cafe Reading Project is Paper Towns by John Green.  Find copies in July 2015 at Caffe a la Mode, Sugar Shack Cafe, Eat Sweet Bakery, Conscious Fork, Noble Pies Cafe, Jean-Claude's Patisserie and Tuscan Cafe.

We invite you to borrow, read, discuss and then return the books to the cafes or the Library.  Let's start reading! Have a great weekend!

Frank & Ella: A Tribute

July 17 at 7:00pm

Celebrate the 100th birthday of "Old Blue Eyes"

Join Rhonda Denet and Steve Kazlaskas for a show that brings audiences back to when these two legends in American music, Ella Fitzgerald and Frank Sinatra, brought crowds to their feet.  This showcase features the music of Cole Porter, Duke Ellington, Count Basie, George and Ira Gershwin and several other composers included in the Great American Songbook.  Click here to register.

*This is an outdoor concert; please bring a lawn chair or blanket; in the event of rain, the performance will be held indoors.

July 16 at 6:00pm

Join Theo Meth for provocative discourse and stimulating conversation on the nature of the mind and the process of spiritual awakening.

Using focused self-inquiry and guided Buddhist meditations, we explore the blocks and pathways to personal growth and self-realization, piercing through layered beliefs and judgments to reveal an underlying universal truth. We take on the question "Who am I". Register here.
