A Message from Rabbi Wexler

What a great time to be a Philadelphia sports fan. Just a few months ago we enjoyed a magical Phillies postseason run to the World Series, and now, after a five-year hiatus, the Philadelphia Eagles are back in the Super Bowl! Who is excited for Sunday? I certainly am! And what do you know, The Eagles playing the Chiefs in Super Bowl 57 almost feels meant to be as it is seemingly predicted by this week’s Torah portion Yitro. How so? There is a reference to both teams in the parasha!

A Message from Ron Safier, Executive Director

Run, hide, or fight? These are the options one must consider if faced with the unthinkable. Not a pleasant thought, but we have to think about it, and we have to prepare. And that is exactly what we did last Thursday evening as members of the JFED security team conducted active shooter drills with more than 60 members of our faculty, staff, and clergy.

Mitzvah Project - Dance Fairies

by Jordyn Sataloff

My name is Jordyn and I have had the love of dance ever since I could walk. Dance makes me happy and wearing a costume makes the feeling even better. I want to share this joy with other children!

I have teamed up with Dance Fairies, a wonderful non-profit organization that has the same level of passion for dance as I do.

Dance Fairies donates costumes and dancewear to children all around the world that are not as fortunate as I am. I am looking to collect costumes as well as dancewear including shoes.

If you would like to donate one of these things go to the collection box located in the TBS school lobby. I will be collecting until March 10th! If you have any questions feel free to email me at jordyns444@gmail.com
