Photo Contest!! Open to EVERYONE (you don't have to be in 4-H to enter) in every state. Cash prizes!! Separate youth and adult divisions.
Categories: Animals, People, Nature/Landscape and Catch-All. Please consider supporting the 4-H Photography program by entering a photo or two! Contest runs February 1-28, 2025 with results late March.

New photo contest available for all Senior age 4-Hers (9th - 12th grades). The Texas Outdoor Wildlife Association's (TOWA) photography contest has now been opened to senior age 4-Hers! The TOWA/TOMA Youth photo contest will open for submissions January 1- March 15, 2025.
There are three categories:
- Category 1: People: Photos with an outdoor-related theme.
- Category 2: Indigenous Texas Wildlife: Photos with an outdoor-related theme.
- Category 3: Landscape.

Photos with a natural outdoor landscape related theme. Prize money includes: $1,000 for 1st Place, $650 for 2nd.

Registration is now open for the 2nd Lone Star 4-H Splash Camp (water camp)! The camp , open to 6th grade – 8th grade students, is an immersive, hands-on plunge into all things water. Activities will include fishing, kayaking, seining for macroinvertebrates, a water fair, model building and a lot of fun and games. Camp activities will be led by 4-H Water Ambassadors. | |
Texas 4-H Council At Large Delegate Application due March 27, 2025
The Texas 4-H Council is a team of 4-H members elected by their peers from across the state of Texas representing the twelve AgriLife Extension districts plus an additional six At-Large Delegates, elected by any Senior level 4-H member across the state. The Texas 4-H Council members serve as ambassadors for the Texas 4-H program. Members represent the organization statewide while collaborating with Extension faculty to plan, coordinate, and facilitate activities and events.

Healthy Texas Youth Ambassadors are local, high-school aged youth recruited by agents and trained to serve as community health and wellness leaders. Healthy Texas Youth Ambassadors assist county extension agents in providing leadership to the youth components of health programs and projects within Healthy Texas, Texas 4-H, and/or other Texas A&M AgriLife health programs. Youth will be trained at the local & regional level to become youth health experts who can motivate others to make changes in their lifestyle and improve overall health. Healthy Texas Youth ambassadors do not have to be Texas 4-Hmembers to apply for the program, but they must commit to enroll for the upcoming year. The online application will be available online February 1- April 1, 2025. | |

Texas 4-H Opportunity Scholarships are academic scholarships awarded each year to applicants based on their academic record, 4-H experience, and financial need. Thanks to our generous donors, we are able to award over $2.7 MILLION in scholarships to over 220 4-H members. | |
