Washington County 4-H is excited to announce a summer Food and Nutrition Program, Kids in the Kitchen, on Wednesday, July 10, 2024. This program will provide educational hands-on activities geared to teach food safety, preparation, and nutrition.


The program will take place on July 10, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Washington County Expo Event Center in Brenham. The cost is $25 (4-H member) and $40 (non-member) per child. Children aged 8-14 are eligible to register, but please note that space is limited to 20 participants. So, we encourage you to register early to secure a spot for your child!

Washington County 4-H and the Washington Extension Beef and Forage Committee are excited to announce a summer Food and Nutrition Program, Kids in the Kitchen - All About Beef, on Wednesday, July 17, 2024. The program will occur on July 17, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Washington County Expo Event Center in Brenham. Each camper will take home three cuts of beef to cook at home! The cost is $25 (4-H member) and $40 (non-member) per child. Children aged 8-14 are eligible to register, but please note that space is limited to 20 participants. So, we encourage you to register early to secure a spot for your child!
