Washington APEX Accelerator is launching a new cybersecurity training cohort for small to medium federal contractors working with the Department of Defense. Participants will create a system security plan, learn to conduct a cybersecurity self-assessment, and get help understanding FAR 52.204-21 requirements—no IT experience needed.

Buy America

Contractors working on Federal Highway Administration funded work should be prepared for changes to the Buy America requirement impact domestic sourcing of iron, steel, and construction materials. Washington State Department of Transportation issued a Construction Bulletin on the changes in effect for projects advertised on or after March 20. The bulletin includes Q&A from the contractor community.

Tiffany Scroggs recognized for the Regina Glenn Advocacy Award at the Association of Women and Minority Business event at Tacoma Convention Center on April 10. “Thank you to Irene Reyes and our other partners for your collaboration with APEX Accelerator over the years to advance business success in our region.
