Washington APEX Accelerator is launching a new cybersecurity training cohort for small to medium federal contractors working with the Department of Defense. Participants will create a system security plan, learn to conduct a cybersecurity self-assessment, and get help understanding FAR 52.204-21 requirements—no IT experience needed.

Contractors working on Federal Highway Administration funded work should be prepared for changes to the Buy America requirement impact domestic sourcing of iron, steel, and construction materials. Washington State Department of Transportation issued a Construction Bulletin on the changes in effect for projects advertised on or after March 20. The bulletin includes Q&A from the contractor community.
