Washington County summer intern Adam Chilinski is wrapping up his last week working for us this Summer. Adam had a statement he wanted to share about his experience this summer.
This internship has proved me with invaluable life experiences that I will remember for the rest of my life. Every day proved new challenges and obstacles that I never encountered in life or at school before. No one day was alike making each day a fun filled adventure, for which I am truly blessed to be a part of. During my over 200 hours of working Clean Boat Clean Waters, I have talked to and educated so many amazing people about Aquatic Invasive Species. Protecting our local lakes and streams is a daunting task, but with a strong local community that values them, it makes this task more manageable. In addition, I would personally like to thank every volunteer that has helped Washington County, your selfless time and dedication is very much appreciated. All these things have made my summer internship a very rewarding experience!
