The Community Foundation of Washington County MD has sent all Washington County Gives participants several emails today indicating that there are difficulties using KIMBIA. The update from Kimbia says it is actively investigating the slow response times that organizations may be experiencing. Kimbia is working toward resolving the issue and restoring performance.

The Community Foundation asks that all be patient and asks donors to keep trying to donate.   Gifts have begun to trickle in. Please be advised that if you receive an email receipt for your gift, that it has processed. If you do not receive a receipt within 5-10 minutes, then your gift did not go through. The Community Foundation of Washington County MD is in constant communication with Kimbia and with the other cities around the country participating today, hoping for resolution. Internally, the Community Foundation is discussing plans on handling golden tickets, and lost hours.

As always thank you for your support.
