“My artwork is my interpretation and abstract vision of the harmony of nature,” Mrs. Hogan says about her work. She continues, “By nature’s term, each artwork interprets the emotions and lives of human beings. Rather than replicate a scene, each painting has no beginning, no end, and no focal point but represents a continuous flow as if wondering through a dream. It is my intent to make people feel and understand the breadth of nature through my works.”
The Governor of Maryland, Larry Hogan, was in attendance to support his wife along with several other local and state dignitaries. Lieutenant Governor Boyd Rutherford from the State of Maryland and wife Monica, Commissioner Vice President Cline, Commissioner Barr and wife Teresa from Washington County Board of County Commissioners, and Director of Washington County Museum of Fine Arts, Rebecca Massie Lane.
Mrs. Hogan’s exhibition will run at the Washington County Museum of Fine Arts from April 14 – June 24, 2018.
