Hello Athletes!

You're receiving this email because you have entered the 2026 USA Powerlifting Washington State Championship. Below you will find important information about the schedule of the event. Please read it completely.

Go to www.liftingcast.com.

Find "2026 USA Powerlifting Washington State Championship Day 1" and "2026 USA Powerlifting Washington State Championship Day 2"on the list of events.

Click one of the links.

Click on the 3 lines at the upper left hand corner of the page.

Select "Roster".

This will show you what day and flight you are currently in.

If you want more info about each lifter, click "Board" under each platform.

This event will be a 2 platform, 1 session event both days. There is NO NIGHT BEFORE WEIGH INS.

The schedule is (both Saturday and Sunday):

Session 1

Check in: 6:30am

Weigh in: 7:00am-8:30am

Lifting Begins: 9:00am

I estimate the session will finish lifting at approximately 3:00pm

All women will lift on Saturday. Some lighter weight class men will also lift on Saturday. Please look over the rosters carefully to find your name. If you have any questions or there is a mistake, please reach out to me so I can fix the issue. I am human and sometimes do make mistakes.

Weight class awards will be given for each session directly after each session.

Men's best lifter awards will be given out after lifting on Sunday.

Women's best lifter awards will be given Saturday after lifting.

Men's Team awards will be given out Sunday after lifting

Women's Team awards will be given out Saturday after lifting.

Mixed Team awards will be given out Sunday at the end of lifting

Many of you have expired USA Powerlifting membership cards. If you wait until Oct 2 to renew, your card will be active for all of 2027. Please renew your cards for the year at this link. Please have this done by Nov 5 at the very latest. DO NOT wait until the day before the event.

The flights and sessions have been set. If you need to change weight classes, you will not be moved to a different day or flight.

If this is your first event, I recommend not trying to "make weight." That means don't try to lose weight to compete. Compete in your actual weight class and gain the experience of competing without the added stress of dieting.

If you need to change weight classes, please complete the weight class change form found on the event page of our website www.usaplwa.com. We put together flights based on weight classes. If you don't make weight at weigh ins, you will still be able to lift. You'll simply be moved to the weight class you actually weigh. With the exception of weighing too light. If you lift on Sunday and weigh in under your declared weight class and that weight class lifted Saturday, you'll lift as a guest lifter and not be eligible for an award.

If you are no longer able to participate in this event, please let me know so I can update the flights.

This is the first of many emails. Please keep an eye on your email over the next several weeks or check the information page so you do not miss any important info.

Thank you,
