For many years Silver Sage members have been participating in the May Wine Tour hosted by Inland Northwest region (INWR). If you haven't heard, INWR has split and the region covering the Tri-Cities Washington area is now Greater Columbia Region (GRCR). Once again, Silver Sage people are planning to participate.
The general plan is to drive to Walla Walla on Friday morning, May 16. We won't arrive in time for the lunch being planned by GRCR, so we will make other plans. After an afternoon visiting wineries, we'll head over to the Tri-Cities area, check in to the hotel and go to dinner (most likely at Anthony's).
On Saturday we will join the GRCR activities that include a tour to Columbia Gardens Urban Wine and Artisan Village for lunch and visiting wineries, followed by a 2.5-hour sunset dinner cruise aboard the 74-foot luxury yacht WestStar by Water2Wine Cruises. Deadline to sign up is Thursday, May 8.
If you plan to participate, here's what you need to do.

Sign up for the event here. Select the Saturday tour from Richland to Kennewick and Sunset Dinner Cruise on the Columbia (Saturday).

For your hotel, GRCR is working to get a block of rooms. However, you might want to go ahead and get a room reserved for Friday and Saturday nights and then possibly change it when the block becomes available. The hotel closest to the Saturday activities is the Courtyard Columbia Point. There are also other hotels in the area.
