DCA was elated to be hosting its 7th series of WebForum in celebration of the Internation Cyber Security Awareness Month under the campaigns #seeyourselfincyber and #becybersmart
on the timely topic of
"Finding a long-term solution to curb Cybercrimes in the digital sphere: A Global Perspective."
The annual campaign aims to educate the public on the importance of cybersecurity, and with over 90% of security breaches still attributed to human error, there is no time like the present to focus on user risk and education.
The virtual meeting dialog consisted of prominent government officials, global cyber security experts, cloud security professionals, and experts of experts on the future of cybersecurity in the digital era.
It was hosted by our own Sophia Bekele, Founder/Group CEO of DotConnectAfrica. The opening address was made by H.E. Sen. Samuel L. Poghisio, EGH, MP, a former Minister of ICT Kenya. The forum was chaired by Mr. Ramaswamy Krishnamani, Asst. Director at Protiviti, Washington DC, USA, and co-chaired by Ms. Elizabeth Kolade, Director of Cyber Security Experts Association of NIGERIA.
