Habitat for Humanity's 2017 National Home Builders Blitz Dedication to be live with Kathy Lee & Hoda
Congratulations to Rutherford County Area Habitat for Humanity for being selected again this year to host Habitat for Humanity's National Home Builders Blitz' House Dedication.
The Today Show with Kathy Lee & Hoda (10am CST on NBC) will be filming June 7, Wednesday morning from Lower Broadway Honky Tonk Central where GRAMMY® Award winner Darius Rucker will present the keys to homebuyer Chuck Russell!
The official house dedication will be held at noon in Murfreesboro. Habitat homebuyer Chuck Russell, a star athlete who, just hours after receiving his high school diploma, was in a severe motorcycle accident that resulted in traumatic brain injury and partial paralysis to the right side of his body.
Despite these challenges, Chuck worked hard and graduated from MTSU with a Major in Psychology and a Double Minor in Sociology and Social Work. Chuck has completed his 300 hours of “sweat equity” and 30-weeks of Financial and Homeowner Education that Habitat requires.
This event will bring awareness of Habitat for Humanity statewide and nationally!
