Thank You for Visiting Us at the Recent Exhibition
Thank you to everyone visited us at OFC, IMAPS Device Packaging, and Semicon China. We had a great turnout and would like to thank our customers for their continued support. We would also like to thank CYCAD for respresenting MRSI at Semicon China.
MRSI Sponsors FIRST Robotics Team: Billerica Memorial High School
In January, the robotics season kicked off. The Billerica Bionics robotics team completed an extensive process of building robot prototypes, which requires developing the software, electrical, and mechanical requirements. Next, the designs are tested to determine which prototype will pass the necessary prerequisites for competition. Various applications are configured to drive the robot. Professional engineers and mentors assist the students. FIRST released the Steamworks game and the students use their robots to compete. The Bionics has had a great competitive season and learned from the robot’s performance based on the configuration. The New England District Championships were held in April and the Bionics performed very well and ranked 27th out of 64 teams that participated in the Championships. FIRST® (First for Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is an international not-for-profit STEM engagement program founded by inventor Dean Kamen to inspire young people to become science and technology leaders. The organization offers programs with leadership opportunities and hands-on experiences in robotics engineering and invention challenges for students in K-12, in which inspires innovation.
