We will learn about a classic cocktail, the Old Fashioned, and how to create variations on the master formula.

We will explore the lore around the drink, Jewish ideas about drinking and share some holiday spirit and spirits together.

Old Fashioneds are generally made with Bourbon, but Whiskey, Rum and Mezcal will all be explored as will tips for future explorations. Register HERE to receive your supplies for the event and Zoom link.

Please pick up your cocktail-making kits TODAY Thursday, December 10th from 3:45-5:00pm or TOMORROW, December 11th from 3:15-4:15pm outside of the main entrance of Shir Chadash on the front porch.

Ben Gurion Hannukkah Home Tour
The Ben-Gurion Heritage Institute is with you even at times of emergency! The Old Man is back for the good of the people of Israel! Stay at home and hop in to the Negev!

The virtual tour in the Ben-Gurion's Desert Home is a unique opportunity for an intimate and exclusive visit in the home of the first prime minister of Israel who declared the independence of the State of Israel, established the I.D.F and built the foundations of Israel and the connections between Israel and world Jewry.

During this unusual period in time which keeps us at home, a guide will take you on a surprising visit allowing us to hop over the ropes of the museum and show you hidden places never seen on a 'regular' visit. During the tour we encourage questions and discussion and connect between history and reality today.

Hadassah Presents...
For this extraordinary Hannukkah, join us as Rabbi Deborah Silver discusses how to enhance our spiritual awareness, especially in times of darkness.

Using sacred Jewish text, Rabbi Silver will help us explore the inner meaning of Hannukkah. By cultivating our inner light and developing consciousness of miracles, we can connect to our strength within for resilience.

As we celebrate together virtually, we’ll light 7 candles and sing, with Rabbi Silver leading us with her voice and guitar, to ignite our inspiration.

Bring your own hanukkiah (Hannukkah menorah), 7 candles, a light, and a beverage of your choice to our Zoom get-together. This special Hannukkah experience is free to all those who register.
