VBS 2016: AN INCREDIBLE VOYAGE

The church seems so quiet after a week of hundreds of kids laughing, crafting, and having the best time learning about and worshiping Jesus at VBS last week. This year's theme "The Pirates" was a big hit...
|

On Sunday, July 3, both worship services will combine for a powerful time of worship and the Word, followed by lunch with our church family.
- One worship service at 10am (no 11:30 service)
- No Sunday School for youth, college and adults
- Sunday School will be available for infants-5th grade at 10am

55+ MINISTRY SUMMER PICNIC

The 55+ Ministry's Summer Indoor Picnic will be Friday, July 8 from 4:30-7pm in the gym. Glen Ward, humorist and inspirational speaker, is providing the entertainment.
Invite a friend to join you--laughter is
good medicine and great way to introduce others to Christ and to Shandon!
This Sunday, June 26 is the last day to register. Sign up in Sunday School or online.

Rachel Bush, RN, MDiv, LPC, will be this year's guest speaker at Summer Oasis.

Women are uniquely gifted in the area of beauty, but we are often trapped by it as well. Guest speaker Rachel Bush will help us better connect with true beauty in ourselves, in our lives and in our Savior...and sidestep the landmines of insecurity, superficiality and fear. When we can trust the beauty that our Creator has wrought in us, we are better equipped to see beauty in all
of life--even the pain and trials we experience.
The Women's Ministry invites all women to Summer Oasis on Wednesday, July 13 at 6:35pm in the Gathering Place.

Hundreds of college students will bring smiles and life to Shandon on our biggest college Sunday of the year, August 24. These kids show up for the right reasons. They have chosen to seek Jesus at Shandon. Here are 3 ways you can help make Shandon a home away from home for them...
