3 Solutions to Common Hiring Problems
Some businesses are saying we are in the midst of a secondary pandemic. But it’s not the kind that requires masks and handwashing. No, this one is harder to control.
There is a dearth of people willing (or able) to work for a multitude of reasons. Employers across the country are posting signs asking for patience with their existing employees because the business is understaffed. In fact, there are hiring managers who are scheduling interviews only to have no one show up! You can’t hire people who don’t even come to an interview.

Open House to Celebrate Jim Cameron
Please join us at your leisure on Wednesday, April 28th & Thursday, April 29th between the hours of 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. for a very special open house to celebrate our very own Jim Cameron who retires on April 30th.

We will have a special book for signing and sharing best wishes to Jim as well as coffee in the morning and light snacks throughout the day too. We are sure there are lots of Jim stories to share from his 38 years of service in Government Relations for the Daytona Regional Chamber on behalf of our community that will be fun and entertaining.

Always the southern gentleman, Jim looks forward to welcoming you as you visit him at the Daytona Regional Chamber (126 E. Orange Ave, Daytona Beach) in his riverfront office at the top of the stairs. He may even show you some of his favorite pictures from his amazing career.

We look forward to seeing you for this happy occasion to celebrate Jim as he transitions to a new beginning outside of chamber work.

None of them have been professional speakers. They're just members of our community interested in helping Elevate Daytona Beach!

Won't you be the next to share your interest or inspiration? Sign up for an audition slot today! Auditions are scheduled for April 22, May 6, May 20, and June 3. We want to hear from you!
