Join us 10/5 for our Virtual Ribbon Cutting to Celebrate our New
PFAS Treatment Facility at Hart Fields
Please join us on our Facebook Page on Monday, October 5 at 10:00 a.m. for a virtual ribbon cutting to celebrate the completion of our first PFAS Water Treatment Facility!

This new facility, located at the Hart Baseball/Softball fields, protects water quality and restores wells to service that have been impacted by per- and polyfluoroalkyl (PFAS) chemicals and provides enough water to serve 5,000 families annually.

During this virtual premier event, SCV Water’s Board of Directors and members of the agency’s leadership team will share highlights on this important project as well as information on their proactive approach to restoring water quality to customers.

SCV Water Kicks Off its Large Diameter PVC Pipeline Replacement Program
SCV Water will kick off a pipeline replacement program this October, by replacing a 1,500-foot section of 14” diameter PVC pipeline with 14” ductile iron pipeline along Decoro Drive and Blueridge Drive. This proactive measure ensures our water system remains reliable, will help to reduce damage from any future breaks, and minimize interrupted water service, traffic delays and lost water.

SCV Water Offers Free Virtual Home Check-Ups
Helps Residential Customers Save Water and Money While Staying Safer at Home
SCV Water customers can save water and money through a free virtual home check-up. These check-ups will look at indoor and outdoor water use and are designed to help water users identify problems, leaks and opportunities to increase water efficiency.

As we continue to respond to the long-term effects of COVID-19, SCV Water is excited to adapt our program into a virtual format to meet the needs of our customers. Virtual check-ups are conducted by WaterWise Consulting, Inc. and offered to residential customers at no additional cost.
