Thank you to the hundreds of residents from Marina and around the region who participated in the November 17 California Coastal Commission Hearing and to many who testified on their views about the Cal Am desalination project.
Speakers from our diverse community included engineers, landscapers, Marina Mayor Bruce Delgado, a Brownie Troop, passionate students from CSUMB, and many others.
Residents expressed a strong desire to protect our shared groundwater supply, protect ratepayers from unfair costs, and preserve our beautiful coastline and natural habitat from the desal project.
