Water Interruption Notice

Laguna Madre Water District (LMWD) will be doing some improvements on its water distribution system in your area to better serve our customers. LMWD will be performing a dry run in Port Isabel to isolate area for future improvements. WORK TO BE PERFORMED ON WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 3, 2025 from 8:30 AM To 10:30 A.M.

In order for the work to be done safely and properly LMWD, will be shutting down the water system in your area for an extended period of time and some areas will possibly be experiencing low water pressure or no water at all. The affected area will be Port Rd, Tarpon Field Dr, Old Stadium Dr, Gonzalez St, Bahia Dr, Woodys Ln, Jean Lafitte, Anne Bonnie and Capt Kidd.

LMWD recommends that our customers store water for sanitary use and for cooking, in containers and or buckets. If there is a medical issue, please take this time to make the necessary arrangements, LMWD also recommends that all businesses with water pumps or chillers, take the needed precaution to protect their equipment.

LMWD is working diligently to improve water service to our customers, LMWD apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause to its customers.

Work can be postponed due to weather conditions or unforeseen LMWD emergencies.
