Water Interruption Notice

Laguna Madre Water District (LMWD) will improve its water distribution system in your area to better serve our customers. Laguna Madre Water District will be installing a 6” water valve and disconnecting an old fire hydrant on Taylor Ave. WORK TO BE PERFORMED ON WEDNESDAY APRIL 8, from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM.
For the work to be done safely and properly, LMWD will shut down the water system in your area for an extended period. Some areas may be experiencing low water pressure or no water at all. The affected area will be Van Buren St., Taylor Ave., Harding blvd., Wilson St., and Kennedy St. from Hwy 100 to Pennsylvania Ave.
LMWD recommends that our customers store water in containers and or buckets for sanitary use and cooking. If there is a medical issue please, take this time to make the necessary arrangements, LMWD also recommends that all businesses with water pumps or chillers, take the needed precautions to protect their equipment.
LMWD is working diligently to improve water service to our customers, LMWD apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause to its customers.
Work can be postponed due to weather conditions or unforeseen LMWD emergencies.
