Working to Protect & Improve Our Water Supply

The water industry is proud of the important role our essential workers play in making sure our communities have safe and reliable drinking water.

Water is the lifeblood of California and without safe and reliable water, no community and no sector of the economy – from tech to agriculture to tourism – can thrive or expand. The water industry is proud of the important role our essential workers play in making sure our communities have safe and reliable drinking water. Thanks to technological advances by highly skilled and trained water professionals and the dedication of thousands of industry professionals locally and around the state, your drinking water and treated wastewater meets some of the most stringent water quality standards in the nation.

Your drinking water is filtered, cleaned, tested, and distributed in a process that is carefully managed by trained water professionals. Marina Coast Water District provides an ample supply of water to its customers and is collaborating with its neighbors to provide enough recycled water to meet one-half of the Peninsula's water needs. We are also exploring additional water sources to sustainably meet our customers' long-term needs.

Your water professionals plan for the future, maintain and upgrade their systems, and improve the safety and resiliency of local water supplies for their communities.
