Season of Giving with Team H₂O

The holiday season is a time for giving, and Team H₂O is leading the way. As an anchor institution, WSSC Water is committed to strengthening the communities we serve, not only through reliable water and wastewater services, but by giving back and volunteering throughout our communities all year long.

This season, Team H₂O donated an impressive collection to Toys for Tots and provided food to families in need. Throughout the year, our employees also volunteer their time, donate backpacks, collect hundreds of coats to support families during colder months, assemble care bundles with basic necessities, and give blood. We’re proud of Team H₂O for keeping the spirit of giving flowing during the holidays and throughout the year.

Holiday Cooking Reminder: Can the Grease!

The holidays are all about family, friends and food, which means lots of cooking! As you whip up your favorite seasonal dishes, don’t forget one important step when the cooking is done: CAN THE GREASE.

Can it. Cool it. Toss it.

Pour cooking grease into a container (an empty used soup can works great!), let it cool, and toss it in the trash. Never pour grease down the drain! It can cause clogs and messy backups this holiday season and beyond.
