Caring for Our Customers

We understand many people are facing financial uncertainty right now. In addition to temporarily suspending water service turnoffs, waiving late fees, and extending Get Current – our popular water bill assistance program, we also offer several other financial assistance programs.

Spending more time at home lately? You might be using more water than you think! Check out our Wise Water Use tips to save water and save money.

What's Your Pipe Type?

WSSC Water is proud to be part of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) enhanced Lead and Copper Rule, an important national public health initiative to remove lead from America’s drinking water. While WSSC Water removed all known lead pipes within our distribution system in the early 2000s, and the water we deliver to customers is lead-free, this multi-year EPA rule focuses on identifying pipe materials, including those on private property. As part of this effort, we will be visiting many neighborhoods to verify pipe types inside homes. This is a FREE service. Our team wants to ensure that all water service lines are safe and free of lead. Follow us on Nextdoor and you’ll know if/when we’re coming to your neighborhood. Want to verify your own pipe type? Use our interactive inventory map!

Scary clogs aren’t just for Halloween! Keep pipes happy year-round. Remember - flush only the 3Ps: pee, poop, and (toilet) paper.

Recreational Water Contact Health Advisory Remains For Triadelphia Reservoir

Due to the continued presence of Harmful Algal Blooms, the Water Contact Health Advisory for the Triadelphia Reservoir remains in effect. While our drinking water is not affected and continues to meet all Safe Drinking Water Act standards, there are important precautions people should take while spending time around the reservoir.

----------Watershed Update---------

Triadelphia Reservoir will be closed on Saturday, November 8, until 1pm due to managed deer hunt.

Triadelphia Recreation Area, Brown's Bridge, Big Branch and Pigtail boat ramps are closed to trailer access due to current water level.
