Best Week Ever

The Excelsior Springs Area Chamber of Commerce and Waterfest volunteers are having the Best Week Ever after pulling off an extraordinary festival for the community again this year! Money raised will go to support our business community!

If you've got a sweet tooth you're in luck, The Candy Jar candy store has been opened in downtown ES by the nice folks at Ventana Gourmet Grill. Located right next to the restaurant, The Candy Jar is on Broadway and has a lot of great candy to offer the community!

Car Seats for Claudia Honors Life of 5-year-old Claudia Happy

Good Samaritan Center case worker Kriston Mosley said, “This is a chance for us to come together and try to make this right, to make sure that we don’t lose another child in Excelsior due to the lack of a car seat.”

Watershed Study Begins as City Battles Downtown Flooding

Earlier this week Excelsior Springs city officials welcomed researchers from consulting groups, Vireo and George Butler Associates, who were in town to begin the process of examining ways in which flooding in throughout downtown can be reduced.
