Manage the Whole Carbon Exchange Process Like a Pro!

Another can't-miss article by Water Online is designed to help engineers and plant managers determine how best to manage the Carbon Exchange Process. You'll learn whether to use virgin or reactivated carbon, when to exchange carbon, and whether the exchange process should be handled in-house or with a third-party vendor. New carbon media, proper equipment service, and timely carbon exchange are crucial for optimal treatment performance.

When a Project Requires a Texas-Sized Solution!

Newterra TIGG was selected by the San Antonio Water System (SAWS) to supply an advanced Activated Carbon System to treat more than five million gallons of water per day. This new Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) Adsorption System will proactively remove TOCs and THMs from Canyon Lake, a nearby potable surface water supply, to reduce the potential for the formation of disinfection by-products (DBP) in the distribution system and ensure compliance with EPA Stage 2 DBP Regulations.

What Does Environmental Stewardship Mean to Newterra?

Another crucial Core Value of Newterra is Environmental Stewardship. "We help shape our planet’s future sustainability through our expertise, products and actions." Environmental Stewardship conserves natural resources, combats pollution, and protects biodiversity, but most importantly, it means we protect and sustain our environment for future generations. We asked a few people in our organization to discuss how Newterra is becoming more focused on Environmental Stewardship.
