Waterloo Regional Campus, Community Cupboard/Fridge

The Waterloo Regional Campus has installed a 24/7 campus access fridge and pantry for our learners, residents, faculty and staff – Take what you need, leave what you can.

The Community Fridge/Cupboard is meant to reduce barriers and support food security by providing food for those with access on our campus.

Where can you find us? The fridge/cupboard is located on the third floor in the student kitchen.

This fridge will be championed by the Waterloo Regional Campus but donations are welcome! If you are interested in donating, please contact us to arrange drop off!

Engage | Equip | Empower - Staff and Faculty E3 Lounge

The Waterloo Regional Campus has transformed the administrative area on the third floor to a lounge where staff and faculty can meet and collaborate.

The purpose of the lounge is to encourage our staff to take time away from their desk, to take a breather, grab a coffee, have lunch or to catch up with colleagues.

We encourage everyone to come to WRC to take advantage of this amazing space we now have available.

Congratulations Class of 2023!

Buckle up for a stay-cation as we explore where our Class of 2023 will be heading for their residency placements starting in July. The Waterloo Regional Campus wish them only the best as they enter the next chapter in their lives and cannot wait to hear their stories! There will always be a place for our graduates here at NRC and we look forward to their visits in the future.

The David Braley Primary Care Research Collaborative (PCRC) at McMaster University's Department of Family Medicine advances knowledge to strengthen and advocate for primary care practice, education, and policy through proactive research relevant to the issues of today.

The PCRC works to:

  • Build capacity for primary care research, including training, resources, mentorship opportunities
  • Generate knowledge through innovative research programs that inform primary care practice, education, and policy
  • Facilitate integration of new and existing knowledge to clinical practice, education, and primary care systems and policies
  • Enhance health equity by developing and supporting a culture and approach to primary care research that incorporates, values, and enhances equity for Indigenous, racialized, and other equity-deserving groups

At the PCRC, we define research broadly to include all types of inquiry - from applying existing knowledge in new and creative ways to generating knowledge through grant-funded research projects. All these forms of inquiry allow us to better understand the world around us, solve problems, inform decisions, foster innovation, and promote critical thinking.
