Join us for a double feature local author meet-and-greet with these two lovely ladies!

Kathleen Kaska is the author of the Sydney Lockhart Mystery series.

Ashley E. Sweeney's historical novels include

Eliza Waite, Hardland, Answer Creek, and The Irish Girl.

They will be here from 3:00pm to 6:00pm to chat with you and sign copies of their books, which make great holiday gifts!

CLOSED for Shop Vacation!

We will be closed for the week of January 6th through January 10th for our annual shop vacation. Ask us what we're reading during our break!

Hi to all of my happy readers. This month is truly flying by. I am so grateful that this town is full of so many readers and people who love to give books as gifts. Please think of your local businesses down on Commercial Ave. this holiday season. I have talked with many of my fellow local business owners, and this is supposed to be a time of "plenty"—and by that I mean, we stock up a little bit and it helps carry us through the upcoming quiet months. This does not seem to be happening this year. We are all struggling with much lower sales numbers than usual. Please support these shops that are in your downtown working extra hard to make your season bright. We have personally really seen a downshift in sales. Having Thanksgiving so late in the season is hard, and an election year also makes it hard.
